May 17

Strawberry

upside-down cake. In-

spiration.

May 18th

Graduation from

high school — life will continue—

death and time don’t care.

May 19th

Penny for you thoughts?

Our thoughts could fed the hungry.

Wandering figments.

April 30th

A teenager wheels

in new, bright produce. A wide

rainbow of fresh foods.

May 1st

Strawberry-filled vines,

vibrant, scarlet, and juicy,

bursting unashamed.

May 2nd

Enough silence.

Now is the time for me to face

what I can’t hold in.

May 3rd

It’s a scary thing,

but… nevermind now… I’ll keep

hiding emotion.

March 31

Why would ice cream be

my comfort food when I can

have pies, cake, and tarts?

April 01

A day for fools and

laughter. When is the day for

reflection and tears?

April 02

I’m letting you go

now. No more dreams, no more aches.

It’s time to move on.

April 03

Sometimes it’s nice to

just sit and ponder who you

would like to become.

One More Poetry Post for Today.

March 06

Cockroach on the wall.

Antennae quivering round.

—oh, how natural.

March 07

Why does no one have

milk? I want lemon-poppy

seed muffins right now.

March 08

Sometimes I get so

sad and cry for the blossoms

that will never bloom.

skipping March 09 …

March 10

I am afraid that

their little heads will never

lie within my womb.

Berries.

Berries.

Eating toasted chicken salad sandwiches makes me feel like a fancy lady.

If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

So, let me tell you about these Fried Apple Pies.
I absolutely can not stand almost everything that is fried, but these babies, they worked on me a bit.
When I say a bit….. I mean I completely and totally fell in love with these. A crunchy, savory outside met with a juicy, fruity, warm, sweet-tasting inside? Oh heck to the yeah. My taste buds were purring.
Make these guys. They’re awesome, and totally worth the frying.

Can We All Say YUM?

August 3rd - Back to school tomorrow. Please kill me I hate that stupid place, and the huge amount of idiots that go there. Anywaysssss…

Okay guys. Today. I made something awesome. That’s right. You heard me. AWESOME. They’re called banana cupcakes with peanut butter icing. Amazing.

One thing I’ve learned from looking at recipes, people LOVE pictures. I know I do. If that recipe has a savory looking photo, I bookmark it and plan on making it. Heck to the yes.

Anyways, I got the recipe here : http://framed-mylifeonepictureatatime.blogspot.com/2010/07/banana-cupcakes-with-peanut-butter.html
